  8. After seeing WebUP on Aminet, it made me realise that other people might be
  9. interested in the web space uploading script that I've been using for a few
  10. months.
  11.  
  12. This script will recurse into subdirectories, but will never create them.
  13.  
  14. To install:
  15.  
  16. Firstly, make sure you have FTPMount and a directory in Hosts that points to
  17. your webserver FTP space.  Also ensure that your webspace files are
  18. up-to-date.
  19.  
  20. copy dateexec to s:
  21.  
  22. ensure that the protection bits are set properly:
  23. protect s:dateexec +s
  24.  
  25. copy uploader and uploader.info whereever you like.
  26.  
  27. enter the following commands in the shell:

  29. date to env:upldate
  30. date to envarc:upldate
  31.  
  32. Now load "uploader" into a text editor and make the changes as detailed in
  33. the file.
  34.  
  35. Mount FTP:, and then double-click on "uploader" to upload any files that
  36. have changed since the last time.  Note that it has a nasty habit of
  37. uploading the same files twice in a row, so if you have any files that are
  38. likely to be changed by the server/your visitors please MOVE or RENAME them
  39. locally until you need to upload them again.
